Weather
Summer weather in Youngstown varies from mild and comfortable to
hot and humid, enabling the enjoyment of a wide variety of Summer
outdoor activities and recreation.
Winter weather ranges from cool to very cold. While
significant snowfalls can occur, Youngstown's position just south of
the northeast Ohio lake-effect snow belt blunts the effects, compared to
neighboring communities to the north.
